THANK GOODNESS! If I didn't get an update soon I was going to have to drive over to Blue Oak Dental and grill your mother! He looks amazing and happy! Have fun getting used to your "normal" boy. It took us awhile!
Wow! Burke looks different without the o2 tube abd feeding tube! How awesome is that? NO TUBES! What a miracle and tender mercy of the Lord to have this all work out so well. So well, that he is totally acting like a normal healthy 2 year old and not going to bed! I love it! Miss you all. You're still in our prayers. Love you and Take Care.

Tyler and Me
Tyler and I have been together for over six years and enjoying life. We have two kidlets who rule the coop and we are so grateful for them in our lives. Here's just a chapter in our lives...come enjoy our story.
Fun family shot!
My sister Liz from redbucketphoto.blogspot.com took this and all the other professional pictures on our blog- isn't she awesome!!
My Cowboy
Here's my boy at the Ranch in Idaho.
Emma Mae
This is Emma Mae who is 4! I can't believe I have a child who is that old! She is as curious and determined and indepentent as they come. She is full of life, of love, and of dang cute laughter! She is such a blessing in our lives!
Emma at age 3
Burke
This is Burke who is 3. He is the happiest little guy and we are amazed with him and what he adapts to daily! He is such a blessing in our lives and we are grateful to have his heart touch ours in so many ways. He was born with congenital heart disease called Double outlet right ventricle (DORV) and has undergone four open heart surgeries and many heart catheters and other surgeries. He received the Rastelli Procedure which was his full repair surgery, in December 2009 by Dr. Hanley at Lucile Packard Children's. He is doing well and is loving life with out oxygen. As a friend said when Burke was born, "He came into this world open-hearted". He truly has.
Seriously? Burke when he was 2.
Burke and The Tank
Burke was born with HD called Double outlet right ventricle. His oxygen levels his whole life have been 75-85% and he was on oxygen from June of 2008 until December of 2009. He was able to get off the oxygen just last December because he had his full repair heart surgery. Dr. Hanley performed the Rastelli Procedure on him at Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and he has changed Burke's life. We no longer have to tote "tank" or "missle" around everywhere we go. We are truly grateful that Burke does not need oxygen any longer to sustain life. He is our little miracle and we thank the Lord above for fixing his heart. I just love this picture of Burke and tank who was his constant buddy for most of his life.
